The beachfront property is situated along more than 100 feet of coveted, sugar white sand on world-famous Siesta Key. Two contemporary, Sarasota School of Architecture structures designed by Carl Abbott FAIA – the main house pavilion is known as Casa del Cielo and a gatehouse – gracefully reside together along with a charming beach bungalow called the Palmer Beach House. The wooded, sanctuary-like setting is a perfect complement to the floating terraces, expansive walls of glass, and light-filled spaces of the Abbott buildings.

A MASTERPIECE¬†…raised horizontal planes, which interpenetrate one with the other – all above ground in a tropical climate – the balancing of solids and voids and the flow of space horizontally and vertically are handled in a remarkable way…” ¬† – Paul Rudolph, Architectural Awards Juror
